The admission ticket entitles visitors aged 18 and over to one admission for the entire duration of the exhibition. Online tickets differ slightly from our box office prices due to the advance booking fee. Online ticket holders can proceed directly to the entrance and do not have to queue at the ticket office.

"Planet Ocean"

From 15 March 2024, "Planet Ocean" will present the fascinating beauty of the world's oceans and their diverse life forms. To this end, the innovative show takes visitors into the little-known depths of this complex ecosystem.

In various exhibition chapters, the exhibition uses impressive large-format photographs and films to show the oceans of our planet. In the "Ocean Sound Room", specially developed for the new exhibition and located in the middle of the ground floor, visitors are immersed in unique worlds of sound. The sensual journey begins at the North Sea and leads through the oceans to Antarctica. The dramatic highlight is the immersive production "The Wave". Installed in the impressively high airspace of the Gasometer, oversized screens serve as projection surfaces for the living sea world. Without diving suits and breathing masks, visitors can encounter huge schools of fish or even sea giants in real size.
